Chris Walton is the founder and principal of Visual Story Productions.  After 20 years in journalism—as  a writer, photographer, producer, and editor—Chris knows how to get to the heart of a story.  Whatever your multi-media needs, Chris can help you to distill even the most complex ideas or events into compelling video presentations.

As Photo Editor at the most influential English language newspaper in Asia, Chris and his 18-person staff told the globe’s news in pictures seven days a week.  And when the paper ramped up their online presence in 2000, Chris was instrumental in building one of the most sophisticated multi-media capabilities enjoyed by any publication in the world.  Chris’ years of experience producing dynamic visual stories on tight budgets and even tighter deadlines make him a perfect resource for commercial clients, non-profits, and online editors seeking affordable video production that has the power to entertain, influence, and motivate.

When Chris is not behind a camera, he can often be found cycling on Bainbridge Island, where he lives with his wife Kate, daughter Anna and son Peter.

Who’s the ‘we’ in ‘WHO WE ARE’? Over the course of two decades, Chris has built a substantial network of talented professionals, including web developers, graphic designers, writers, advertising experts, and public relations consultants.  When client assignments require a larger team, Chris assembles the right people and serves as Project Manager.
